Designer Help and Assistance
Our designer assistance service was created so we could better market our skills to other designers and developers. Whether you need our help for the life of a project, or just need a hand buttoning up the loose ends of a nearly finished project, we want to help you. There’s nothing too big or too small. We love doing the tedious stuff, like cleaning up and optimizing coding, or trying to figure out why that menu doesn’t want to work in Internet Explorer. We also like the big stuff, like migrating a website onto a new platform. Above all, we want to help you be successful and to deliver a highly polished product to your clients. They’ll never even know we helped, so you can take all the praise and glory.
What we can help with
This is a list of common things we help designers with. It’s by no means comprehensive. So, if you don’t see what you want on here, don’t hesitate to contact us.
- Installing content management systems, such as Modx, WordPress, or Simple Machine Forums, but we’ll install anything you need us to.
- Migrating websites to a new platform – If you have a website that isn’t on a content management system, but need it on one, we’ll help make it happen (we’re most familiar with Modx and WordPress).
- Coding and server optimizations – We’ll help clean up your coding and make sure you have everything configured on your server to deliver the fastest website possible.
- Cross-browser fixes and testing – This is a necessary evil, and we can help take the burden off of you by testing your website for cross-browser functionality and helping you fix the problems.
- Plugin and addon installation – We can help you install and configure addons and plugins for your content management system
- Code implementations – Help with coding nearly any aspect of a website, from forms to menus.
